Analysis of Vegetation Density and Surface Temperature in Buahbatu District, Bandung using Landsat 8 Oli/Tirs Satellite Images

Urban Heat Island is a phenomenon of increasing temperature that occurs in the city area compared to surrounding area. caused by reduced vegetation due changes rural land use urban areas. This study was conducted analysis relation between density (NDVI) and surface (LST) Buahbatu District as an effort control impact phenomenon. research processing data from Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS satellite images 2019-2020, namely May October 2019 2020. Data collection carried out through Google Earth Engine retrieve geospatial visualization (satellite imagery) USGS download imagery on Bands 4 5, then processed using Arcmap, Pearson correlation test performed SPSS. The results obtained are temperature. In District, shows value (-.403*) (-.386*) Both show negative correlation, which means if has high density, will decrease, vice versa. addition, gets good UHI with NDVI above 0.25, LST below 30 but not less than 25.
